Music and shadow theater come together for an astonishing journey between the 13th century and today. Under the reign of Alfonso X the Sage, Spain experienced an era of exceptional intellectual vitality, made possible by the meeting of the greatest Arab, Jewish and Christian minds around a king as passionate about astronomy as music.

Let's re-live this golden age through the story of the young Jewish calligrapher Hayim, who, at the age of ten, discovers a very strange connection between his beautiful Christian neighbor Elizabeth and his friend Quassem, son of one of the best Arab musicians of the court. Together, they immerse us in the heart of the alleys of Toledo, in a world of tolerance where was conceived this unique music at the crossroads. Here is a great opportunity to wonder about the transmission, the memory and the discovery of the other, by sharing the modernity of this repertoire which fits more than ever in the stakes of our time.
