A Delightful recital of traditional Sephardic songs full of authentic colour. […] Edith Saint-Mard performs with a fairly typical folk singer's timbre. She is skilled and at the same time restrained in her use of ornament. Michaël Grébil is an excellent foil to her. Instrumentalist and singers together help to create an exceptional climate of nostalgia, mostly sad, but not without its moments of joy and humour.
