Morgan Huet viola

 

Morgan Huet began his violin studies at the Conservatoire Royal Francophone de Bruxelles in the class of Véronique Bogaerts, graduating with a specialised master's degree and a diploma in pedagogy in 2013. He continued his viola studies in the class of Tony Nys until 2016, when he obtained a specialised master's degree with great distinction.

Morgan Huet began playing the violin at the Saint-Nazaire music school in France, then went on to perfect his skills at the Rennes conservatoire while studying for a degree in Musicology at the University of Rennes. He joined the Conservatoire Royal Francophone de Bruxelles in 2009 in the class of Véronique Bogaerts and received the violin specialised Master's diploma as well as the agrégation (teaching diploma) in 2013. He participates actively in various youth orchestras (France (OFJ), Spain (JONDE), Finland (SIBA), Norway (Ungdommsymfonikerne), and continues his viola studies in Tony Nys' class until 2016, when he obtains a specialised master's degree with great distinction.

He has been a member of the Alfama Quartet since 2015 on viola, and participates in various other professional ensembles in Belgium such as Oxalys and Yes Camerata. Morgan Huet is currently principal viola with the Orchestra of Flanders (Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen). He is a regular guest with orchestras such as the Brussels Philharmonic, the Orchestre de chambre de Wallonie, the Orchestre Symphonique de la Monnaie, the Opéra Royal de Liège Wallonie and the Orchestre philharmonique du Luxembourg.

He is also involved in teaching and conducts the string orchestra at the Braine-l'Alleud academy.
