Canticum Novum creates Envol(s) this week at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne (FR)!
Through a dialogue between music and poetry, Canticum Novum invites us, in this new cycle of creations, to open up a space for reverie, for intimate reflection, on the extraordinary capacity we have to transform ourselves, to evolve, to incarnate, to metamorphose ourselves in contact with the world, with others, with the ineffable... and perhaps to rediscover, for a moment, a path and a common gaze towards the horizon.
The Sartrouville Theater (FR) welcomes Ararat this Friday, April 11th at 8:30pm!
Canticum Novum brings together a cross-cultural group of musicians and part of the Armenian repertoire (dances, folk songs and mystical poetry from the 10th to 17th centuries). In this way, each musician appropriates the other's culture to create a sounding board that multiplies the emotional accents of a single, plural humanity.
