Fanny Azzuro
PIANOFanny Azzuro (bio courte) Piano
Born into a family of Italian origin and a prize-winner at international competitions, Fanny Azzuro has developed a richly colourful musical world, inspired by the spirit of Romanticism and the early 20th century. A Yamaha Artist, she performs at festivals such as the Nohant Festival Chopin, La Roque d’Anthéron, La Folle Journée de Nantes, the Lille Piano Festival and the Festival de Menton, as well as in prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, Flagey in Brussels, the Radio France Auditorium, the Salle Cortot, the Shanghai Daning Theatre and the Seoul Arts Center.
Having trained notably with Boris Petrushansky in Imola, she has enriched her career through memorable artistic encounters, sharing the stage with Deborah Nemtanu, Ophélie Gaillard, Solenne Païdassi, the Voce, Hermès, Van Kuijk and Talich Quartets, Richard Galliano, the SpiriTango Quartet and Adélaïde Ferrière.
Her travels and collaborations have shaped a discography ranging from Ravel, Debussy and Albéniz to Rachmaninov, Chopin and Scriabin. Her latest album, *Hypnos*, supported by the CNM, Spedidam and Adami, continues this sensitive exploration.
There is no lack of focus in the construction of Fanny Azzuro’s repertoire. Rather, it expresses a desire to delve deeper into the beauties of a musical era. The Naïve label is now accompanying this journey full of promise.
