Ryan Veillet began his musical studies as an oboist, but would always find occasions to sing in church choirs, musical theater productions, and in collegiate a cappella groups. After obtaining degrees in Music and Choral Conducting from Pomona College and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he came to Paris and quickly joined the ranks of vocal ensembles including Les Cris de Paris, les Metaboles, l’Ensemble 101, Les Elements, Accentus, and Jacques Moderne. He has performed in many of the most prestigious music festivals including Les Folles Journees de Nantes, le Festival de la Chaise Dieu, and the Festival of Aix en Provence, and has performed in staged works at the Théâtre du Chatelet, the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, les Bouffes du Nord, and the Opéra Comique.
