Under the sign of the night and its charms, the young Trio Arnold, already multi-awarded, pays tribute to Hungarian music for string trio from the beginning of the 20th century. A rare work by Lajtha, a pupil and friend of Bartók, Transylvanian Evenings evokes in reinvented folklore ‘the course of the seasons in the mountains and meadows of ancient Transylvania’. An Intermezzo by Kodály, followed by Dohnányi's sparkling Serenade, close the journey with a bewitching perfume of the Austro-Hungarian Belle Epoque.
