Duo Salque-Peirani

Leipzig Club

François Salque, cello
Vincent Peirani, accordion

What if Bach opened the doors to an imaginary club where jazz, classical music, improvisation, and contemporary composition came together? For their first album on *harmonia mundi*, Vincent Peirani and François Salque invite Villa-Lobos, Mendelssohn, Brad Mehldau, Pēteris Vasks, Samuel Strouk, and Vincent Lê Quang to engage in a dialogue with the Cantor in a poetic and virtuosic program, drawing on twenty years of musical collaboration.
