Das Trio Zadig fand die richtigen dramaturgischen Mittel, dieser musikantisch-spirituellen Grenzerfahrung Herr zu werden: drahtige Beweglichkeit, schlanke Tongebung und zügige Tempi verliehen dem Werk fast südländisches Temperament. In den langsamen Passagen riskierten die Musiker fast alles, spielten kaum hörbar leise, abgründig mit fahler Tongebung und grollend tiefen Trillern, die das Entsetzen inmitten seliger Melodien spürbar machten. Isabelle Georges, Frédérik Steenbrinck & Trio Zadig are delighted to invite you to attend the concert to mark the release of the album Vingt-quatre heures de la vie d'une femme, on Friday January 17th at 8pm, Salle Cortot - Paris.

This is the very first musical adaptation of Stefan Zweig's masterpiece. The music was composed by Sergei Dreznin, with lyrics by Christine Khandjian and Stéphane Ly-Cuong and arrangements by Cyrille Lehn. Find out more

After discovering Trio Zadig at the Musicales de Bagatelle, Isabelle Georges met up with them again at the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier. Captivated by their musicality, she invited them to record Sergei Dreznin's composition at the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse in Soissons.
