Canti di Gioia

Man declines then recreates himself
Far from evidence and ruins From building site to building site
Beneath the bark
He extracts himself from chaos
He rakes gardens
To taste the future
Its fleeting flora
To its ephemeral bunches
And the song of the morning.
- Andrée Chedid, MÉTAMORPHOSES III
Through a dialogue between music and poetry, Canticum Novum invites you, in this new cycle of creations, to open up a space for reverie, for intimate reflection on the extraordinary capacity we have to transform ourselves, to evolve, to embody, to metamorphose ourselves in contact with the world, with others, with the ineffable... and perhaps to rediscover, for a moment, a path and a common gaze towards the horizon.
