After exploring the music of Central Europe with their first album Est and revisiting the works of Piazzolla and Gardel with Tanguillo, François Salque and Vincent Peirani have dedicated their new album to the musical world of Johann Sebastian Bach. This dynamic duo's reinterpretation is nourished by the captivating and incredibly varied sounds of their two instruments, at the crossroads of classical and jazz, in a process of constant reinvention.

Bach's works become the source of interpretations with an unprecedented sense of crossover, delightful improvisations and evocative (re)creations. Alongside traditional chorales, sarabandes and other preludes, works specially composed by and for the duo demonstrate that, reinvigorated by such inspired musicians, Bach's music still has much to say to us!
