Hommage to Messiaen
Following a resounding success at the Messiaen-Tage Festival in Görlitz, held to mark the anniversary of the premiere of Messiaen’s *Quartet for the End of Time*, the ensemble—comprising Fanny Azzuro (piano), Jean-Marc Fessard (clarinet), Emanuel Salvador (violin), and Adam Klocek (cello), presents a program featuring Béla Bartók’s Contrasts and Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time, whose spiritual musical language reflects the historical significance of the venue where it was premiered.

« Sous la coupole dorée, le Quatuor s’est déployé de manière saisissante dans l’espace, mêlant à la fois réconfort et émotion, mais aussi inquiétude et angoisse. Le concert était précédé de la pièce de musique de chambre « Contrasts » de Béla Bartók, composée en 1938, un programme contrasté parfaitement adapté à l’occasion.
