Hope
“Hope is nothing other than the faith that that moment has not yet arrived, that we will be able to see our true destiny when it approaches, and that we will be able to jump aboard before the chance to be ourselves disappears forever and condemns us to live in the void, longing for what should have been and never was.”
- Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Labyrinth of Spirits
Music has often allowed human beings to position themselves in relation to society and major political events, but also to spirituality and major inner questions. The HOPE program imagined by Arnaud Thorette and Gaëlle Solal brings together works that express hope: spiritual hope, hope for identity, political hope, hope for a new world.
The HOPE project is part of a humanist approach. It can be associated with all kinds of mediation actions with the younger generation, in particular choral singing, but also school interventions on the subject of revolt, oppression...
