Poems of the soul
A recital inspired by Le Poème de l'âme by the Romantic artist Louis Janmot from Lyon, a lifelong pictorial and literary project illustrating the initiatory journey of a soul on Earth.
Poetry and spirituality are inseparable from Franz Liszt, as they are from Federico Mompou, inspired by the Spiritual Canticle of Saint John of the Cross.
Alexander Scriabin, although he did not borrow his titles from literary authors, explored the genre of the Poem in Music at great length and oriented his work towards a symbolist philosophy, gradually becoming a mysticism of ecstasy.
Going beyond notions of faith or religion, this is a recital about the transcendence of Music
