The sun has a date with the moon...

Conceived around imagery of the moon, whose brilliance sometimes rivals that of the sun, this program combines introspective works—such as Chopin’s Nocturnes or Liszt’s Rêves d’amour—with vividly colorful pieces like Falla’s mysterious Danse rituelle du feu or Rossini’s famous Danza, with its frenzied tarantella rhythm. And who’s to say that a certain Charles Trenet won’t make a surprise appearance at the end of the concert…
