Frasques baroques entre héros et tyrans
Lucile Richardot, mezzo-soprano
Jean-Luc Ho, harpsichord
Winner of the Victoire de la Musique award in 2025, mezzo-soprano Lucile Richardot, with her haunting and generous voice, has created a brand new programme in collaboration with the virtuoso harpsichordist Jean-Luc Ho. Between ecstasy and intoxication, this playful programme explores opera arias and cantatas with great expressive and dramatic power.
After eight dazzling years of twirling and whirling Baroque sorceresses across France and Europe, Jean-Luc Ho and Lucile Richardot feel that their witches have shouted and cast their spells enough. Without making you yawn or suddenly fall asleep... They are now setting off to explore the dark side of more base human characters, their silences, whether voluntary or forced, their tormented slumbers, their meditations before giving up on life... From fallen figures to the downfall of tyrants, we will journey through the upheavals and nightmares of victims who became executioners, and vice versa... but shhh! It's a secret, a sacred one, it creates, it screams!
