Songs of the Earth
This programme proposes stylistic and thematic bridges around the movements of Nature and water in particular, reflecting the restlessness and tranquility of the soul.
From descriptive music reflecting mysterious and bewitching natural elements such as the softness of a bird's song, the variety of lights and colours of a landscape, the sound of waves and waterfalls, to contemplative music leading to the contemplation of the solitary walker and the exaltation of the mystic, all the charms that enchant the ears have been transposed for the piano, generating a multitude of emotions and reminding us that nature is the first musician.
Claude Debussy went so far as to say: "I have made a religion of the mysterious nature"...
