Between silence and infinity

88 is the number of notes on a piano. What if each one contained a whole world? An entire world contained within a musical cell, a repeated motif, a single suspended melody. This programme invites us on a journey from the infinitely small to the infinitely large, from the inner, intimate, organic universe to the collective, mysterious cosmos. The works of Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Ernst Bloch and Pascal Amoyel weave this fertile tension between minimalism and transcendence, between naked presence and echoes of the absolute.

Finally, Franz Liszt, a visionary precursor, appears not only as the father of a minimalist language ahead of his time, but also as a mystical guide leading the listener towards a form of inner ecstasy.

The concert thus ends in a musical and spiritual epic between earth and sky, where the last notes resonate like a passage to the invisible.
