Through emblematic and virtuoso works, the Trio SR9 links the composer's influences with his Russian contemporaries, as well as with his Iberian family ties. At the beginning of the 20th century, Maurice Ravel benefited from the strong cultural exchange between Russia and France while affirming his major interest in his Spanish maternal roots.

In a concert format conceived in three parts with Ravel's work as a common thread, the arrangements of the Trio highlight the virtuosity of the game and the harmonic richness of the three marimbas in order to listen to these original transcriptions with another ear!
