Les Tromano
PROJETS ORIGINAUXLes Tromano
Constantly imagining and building a singular repertoire, the trio pursues a path off the beaten track. The Tromano's artistic research also pushes them towards the renewal of the concert form.
After a first opus, "Gran Bazar" (2015, NoMadMusic), which honoured music that embraced classical and popular music (Piaf, Schostakovitch, Piazzola, traditional Klezmer or Norwegian), the Tromano go even further in their quest for a unique sound. With "Sorcerer's Apprentices", they tackle more classical pieces (Beethoven, Ravel, Sibelius, Mahler!) and get from them all that their famous arrangements bring: a fresh and enthusiastic listening, authentic and recognizable, the "Tromano sound".
The trio is regularly on the programme of numerous seasons and festivals (Musée d'Orsay, Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier, Festival de l'Epau, Flâneries de Reims, Concerts de Poche, Festival Musiq'3 in Brussels, Gstaad New Year Music Festival...) in France, Belgium, Spain, Slovakia, Switzerland, Japan or Norway...
When they are not Tromano, Yorrick can be found as concertmaster of the Navarre Symphony Orchestra, Yann at the head of the double bass section of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, and Daniel with the Pygmalion ensemble.
