Contemporary texts of "The Belle Epoque".
Possible texts in mirror of the musical program:
- For Ravel: a portrait written by Colette or André Suarez
- For Gershwin, a story of his meeting with Ravel in the USA
- A text on the "Apache group" which included all the best composers, writers and painters of the time (memories of Tristan Klingsor ....)
- For Erik Satie: "Children Musicians" or "Animals and Music".
There may also be a text and music score of Satie, such as "The bureaucratic sonatine" of 1914
- For Poulenc, his memories are a bottomless source
- For the Rite of Spring (Nikolai Kapustin), critics of creation are a mine!
- possibilities of texts on the life of musical salons in fashion at this time: at the Countess of Polignac, Anna de Noailles and Madame de Saint Marceau where we find absolutely all the composers who count.
There may also be texts by Valentine Hugo, Leon-Paul Farge, Maurice Delage ....
