Clémence Niclas Vocals and flutes

Clémence Niclas obtained her master's degree in recorder from the CNSMD in Lyon in 2019. Also a singer, she will join the CNSMD in Lyon in 2020 in the early music singing class.

In 2016 she co-founded the ensemble ApotropaïK, a quartet focused on medieval repertoires. Since its creation the ensemble has been awarded several international prizes. In 2023, it entered into residency at the Royaumont Foundation, where Clémence was laureate the same year of the Italian Ars Nova training with Patrizia Bovi (Micrologus).

Also passionate about live performance, Clémence is currently involved in various creations such as Qui-Vive, an electro-opera with the Compagnie Rassegna, as well as Lubulus et Alaïs, a show for young audiences produced by JMFrance, in a duet with the percussionist Lou Renaud-Bailly. She is also developing as a solo singer, notably in ensembles such as Doulce Mémoire, la Chacana (Pierre Hamon) and la Nébuleuse (Gabriel Rignol).

In September 2022 she was a finalist in the "Concours International de Chant Baroque de Froville".
