After Gabriel Fauré

Gabriel Fauré composed intimate music, whether vocal or instrumental, with or without words. These pages of music have survived through the ages and their procession of fashions and influences. Over time, these melodies have left a lasting impression on our collective memory with their gentle and poignant nostalgia.

"Rêve(s)" presents itself as an original journey through the music of Gabriel Fauré: known or secret melodies, but also instrumental pieces that we have selected and arranged, drawing on our various influences: classical, pop, jazz, world music...

This meeting between Emily Loizeau, the Ensemble Contraste and a classical composer (Gabriel Fauré), signs the opening approach of the show "Rêve(s)".
