Elegance

The flute and the harp, the very first instruments of our humanity, with their enchanting sounds. Juliette Hurel and Isabelle Moretti, two iconic figures on their instruments within the international music scene and long-time collaborators, have chosen to take you on a journey through their favourite repertoire, 20th-century French music. Following in the footsteps of the indispensable Claude Debussy (with a previously unheard transcription of the Suite Bergamasque), this is an enchanting journey filled with colour, silence, delicacy, smiles and lightness. Other composers who are not played often enough (and whom Juliette and Isabelle want to bring to the fore!) will add to the enjoyment of this journey: Clémence de Grandval, Eugène Bozza and even the naval officer Jean Cras.

This programme has given rise to Juliette Hurel and Isabelle Moretti's new album, ‘Elégance’, which will be released in May 2026 by Harmonia Mundi.
