(…) Les sept instrumentistes ont porté avec bravoure et grandeur, tout en maintenant une forte cohésion, cette partition d’une rare intensité, ce long adagio d’une petite demi-heure, traversé de thèmes crépusculaires et mystiques. Dans cette pièce, la conduite du discours, du flux musical est vraiment essentielle. Menés par le violoniste Shuichi Okada et parfaitement cadencés par la contrebassiste Laurène Durantel, les sept musiciens ont véritablement œuvré de concert, faisant s’épanouir chaque ligne et intention musicales. Un beau moment d’intelligence musicale chambriste dans l’acoustique si précieuse des Bouffes du Nord.
