Quatuor Voce (biographie courte)

 

In the last 20 years, the Quatuor Voce has etablished itself as one of the most electric and adventurous string quartets on the classical music scene. Laureates of numerous international competitions and passionate about defending the great string quartet repertoire, alone or alongside such exceptionnal musicians as Yuri Bashmet or Gary Hoffman, the past seasons have seen the Voce travelling the globe with tours in Japan, Australia, United States, Haïti and South America, as well as numerous concerts in Europe.

The Voce have been welcomed to such notable internationals halls as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the BOZAR in Brussels and Philarmonies of Paris, Berlin, Cologne…

Their quartet’s recording have all met with high critical acclaim from the international press, such as The Strad, Télérama(FFFF) Suddeutsh Zeitung, Diapason(5 Diapasons) and The Gardian. Their newest album « Poétiques de l’Instant », centered around Debussy and Ravel’s string quartets and including new works by Yves Balmer and Bruno Mantovani was crowned with Diapason’s Diapason d’Or and a Diamond from Opéra Magazine.

With their association »Les Voce », they create severals festivals and academies : Quatuor à Vendôme in 2017, Les Rendez-vous des Princes in 2021, and Les Eclats Musicaux in 2024.

Guillaume Becker, Sarah Dayan, Arthur Heuel and Cécile Roubin regulary play instruments made by Samuel Zygmuntowicz and generously lent by the El Pasito foundation.
