Her tone quality on a well-tuned Yamaha is beautifully graded in Debussy's Images [...] She is up against stiff competition in the alluring showstopper that is Alborada del gracioso, but she sensitively handles the gentler, more reflective numbers of Miroirs such as Oiseaux tristes and La Vallée des cloches. The concept is strong, and it's matched by some impressive execution on a finely recorded album.
